Privacy policy

Founder Social, LLC runs Founder Social Club and foundersocialclub.com. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we keep the data short.

What we collect

  • What you give us when you apply or sign up: name, email, company, role, city, LinkedIn, what you are building, your deck or pitch link, and what you want help with.
  • What you add to your profile later: photo, skills, asks, targets, investor and customer lists you choose to upload.
  • Sign in details from Google or LinkedIn if you use them: your name, email and profile photo. We never see your password.
  • What you do on the site: events you RSVP to, deals you claim, intros you request, messages you send, and basic usage data.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We see that you paid and your plan, never your full card number.
  • If you click “Pull from LinkedIn” on your profile, we look up your public professional profile (name, headline, title, company, city and photo) through a data provider, Crustdata. It only runs when you ask, and you choose which fields to keep.
  • Partners give us company and contact details, their offer, and any target account lists they upload. Those lists come from the partner’s own tools (for example Clay, Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator), and the partner is responsible for having the right to share them. We use them only to find warm paths for that partner and never publish them.
  • Partner agreements are signed through DocuSign, which receives the signer’s name and email.

Why we use it

  • To review your application and run your membership.
  • To make introductions you ask for, with both sides saying yes first.
  • To match members, partners and investors on stage, industry and need.
  • To send you event invites, the newsletter and messages about your account. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
  • To track referrals to partners, so the deals and rev share are accurate.
  • To keep the community safe and the platform working.

Who sees it

Other members see what you put on your public profile. Partners and investors never see your name or contact details until you opt in to an intro. We share data with the service providers that run the site (hosting, database, email, payments, sign in, e-signature and profile lookup, including Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Stripe, Clerk, DocuSign and Crustdata) and only so they can do that job. We do not sell your data.

What you control

You can edit your profile, hide fields from other members, turn off notifications and delete your account from Settings. You can also email us to get a copy of your data or have it deleted, and we will do it within 30 days. If you are in California or the EU you have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the site working (set by Clerk and Stripe). No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Who it is for

Founder Social Club is for adults building companies. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a member or partner, and then only as long as we need it for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
